Valentich alien abduction case

On 21 October 1978 , at 6:19 p.m., Frederick Valentich, a young driver aged 20, took off from Moorabbin Airport near Melbourne ( Australia ) on board a Cessna 182 . He plans to do a simple return to King Island, located 240 km away.
At 7:06 p.m., when he began to fly over the sea, he contacted the control tower in Melbourne to see if another aircraft flying in the same area as him. The controller replied that no, but said Valentich see a device that does not identify, flying close to him and he estimated the altitude of 1500 meters. The young pilot described the controller device " rather than metal , "" elongated "and" emitting a powerful green light . " Valentich prevents the control tower that the object is changing more and more close to him and moves at a prodigious rate.
At 7:12 p.m., Valentich said the controller that " it's not a plane . " Suddenly a strange sound of metal grating covers Valentich's voice and the call is disconnected.
From 7:28 p.m., the Royal Australian Air Force sends reconnaissance aircraft in the area.
Research continues until October 25 , but never found the body of Valentich or any debris that may come from the device, so the beacon of the unit was never activated.
Several weeks after the incident, a witness appeared and claimed to have seen a small plane "followed" by a strange green light over the sea on 21 October 1978 . The man chased the rabbit with one of his nephews and two nieces of the side of Cape Otway (near the site of the last radio contact Valentich).
To date, no physical evidence of his death who could be made, Frederik Valentich is still officially considered "missing."
