The Milton Torres 1957 UFO Encounter (Encounter Milton Torres 1957) is a case reported by a former fighter pilot in the United States Air Force, John Milton Torres in Miami, Florida.
On May 20, 1957 was the 25-year-old Torres ordered a large unidentified flying object (UFO) to intercept andshoot down that radar had spotted over East Anglia in the UK. Torres, in a North American F-86 Sabre jet flying,approached the object and prepared to fire. Even before he had addressed his arms (lock on) the UFOdisappeared at great speed. The details of this case were first disclosed in a release of UFO-related files by the British government in October 2008.
This case has some similarities with the crash of a UFO in Del Rio (Texas) in 1955 would have occurred. There too there was a contact between an F-86 Sabre and a UFO.
