Lubbock Lights


The first saw the object of the 25th August 1951 at 21.10 Texas Technological College ( Texas Technological College , now Texas Tech University ) Lecturer of Geology professor Dr. WI Robinson, professor of chemical engineering , Dr. AG Oberg, Professor and Head of the Department of Petroleum Technology WL Dücker. They stood in a clear dark night, and Robinson's garden. Suddenly, they saw all the way around 30 light beam, which accounted for half of the arch, within a few seconds in silence horizon horizon roared. A few moments later repeated the same phenomenon. Men evaluated the movement of objects at 30 degree angle per second.
The same phenomenon is seen by the same observers, and several others at a later date. Hundreds of observers saw Lubbocki the neighborhood of at least three times. Dücker saw a total of 12 cases from August to November.
They saw about two football field size of the object. The object flew silently, and its front and back edge was lined with lights.
30th August 1951 a similar object photographed by Carl Hart, Junior, who was then 18 years old. Since there were many seers and of the several States, when the case was widely reported in the media.
